Welcome to a park that often gets overlooked! Most people look at this park as no more than a glorified zoo, or even a half-day park.  This park is a great park to visit for guests of all ages, and there is so much to do! Let's start with rides/attractions Rides/attractions  Expedition Everest - This roller coaster is the crown jewel of Animal Kingdom, offering a thrilling ride through the Himalayas. At 44 inches tall, you're good to go, and the single rider and rider switch options can help you skip long lines! Don't miss the Yeti animatronic- it's one of Disney's best!  Dinosaur - Closing soon, this is a rough ride through time to capture some dinosaurs. I will warn you it is dark and scary, my girls didn't like it until they were older.  Kilimanjaro Safaris - Hands down my favourite ride in the park! The safari changes depending on the time of day and weather, so I highly recommend going at different times for new experiences. Keep your eyes pe...

Disney offers a variety of food options for your park days! Each theme park and Disney Resort has its own selection, ranging from budget-friendly to more extravagant choices. Some experiences even include character dining! Let's explore what each option has to offer.  Park Options Each park offers three types of dining options, along with snack carts. The choices include Character Meals, Table Service/ Fine(Signature) dining, and Quick Service dining.  Character Meals-  These can range from buffet-style to plated meals, depending on the restaurant. Wahoo, you've decided to stay on-site at Disney World! This is a huge step in making your Disney vacation magical, and there are several things to consider when picking your resort. I'll walk you through the different levels of Disney Resorts and help you decide which one might be right for you. Value Resorts There are 5 Value Resorts, and they're the most affordable option at Disney World. These rooms typically sleep up to 5 people, with 2 double beds in most rooms. Some resorts offer family suites, which can accommodate up to 6 people and include a queen bed, a drop-down double bed, and a double sofa bed. The suites also have a kitchenette (microwave, mini-fridge, and sink).  The themed rooms and pools make the resorts super fun for families, and they offer a variety of transportation options. The All Star Resorts only have bus transportation, while Art of Animation and Pop Century also have access to the Skyliner in addition to buses.  Moderate Resorts There are 4 Modera...

I hear this all the time, "Disney isn't a vacation spot unless you take your kids"! Well I hate to break it to you but they couldn't be more wrong! Disney is a great vacation spot no matter your age, married or not, kids or not! We have taken trips to Disney as a family, and my husband and I have taken trips just the two of us! Our favorite thing we have done so far when it is just the two of us is The Keys to the Kingdom Tour. It is a 5 hour in-depth tour of Magic Kingdom. This tour includes the fascinating history of Magic Kingdom and backstage access to legendary hidden areas! It is a walking tour that takes you through the creation and evaluation of one of the most beloved parks at Disney World. It gets you into the Utilidors, and backstage areas like where the parade is staged, and so much more! They provide lots of little-known facts (unless your a Disney Nerd like me!), trivia and other fun information about the park, and rides. Lunch is included in your tour ...
