My Top 10 Things To Do
Everyone has their favourite things to do in Disney World! I am going to count down my top 10!
10. Carousel of Progress! This one most people would say skip to, however, it is one of my favourites! I can not do a trip without hitting this ride at least once! This ride takes you on a time travel through the 20th century and the evaluation of technology. This can be found in Magic Kingdom.
9. Spaceship Earth. This one is also one that all members of my family want to ride multiple times! We have even park hopped to ride this on our last day for them! This ride takes you through time and the evaluation of communication from the stone age to the computer age. This ride is found in Epcot.
8. Avatar Flight of Passage. This ride is super cool, even if you haven't seen the movies. It is a 3D ride where you are on a banshee that flies over Pandora's landscapes. This attraction is found in Animal Kingdom.
7. Jungle Cruise. This ride is an original! The best parts are the skippers! They defiantly tell the best jokes! At Christmas time they do an overlay of this ride called Jingle Cruise! It is just as good as the original and is a fun addition to the Christmas festivities at the parks. This ride goes through the jungles of Asia, Africa and South America. This ride is found in Magic Kingdom.
6. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. This ride is out of this world! Every part of the ride is fully immersive, starting in the line. Shortly after this ride opened we had a trip planned for just my husband and I, I think we rode this ride 3 or 4 times over the course of our trip! It never gets old! This attraction is found in Hollywood Studios.
5. Disney Springs/ World of Disney/ Disney's Days of Christmas. Disney Springs is the shopping area on Disney property. There are a wide variety of stores and restaurants to explore. My favourite of them are defiantly World of Disney and Disney's Days of Christmas! The World of Disney store is the largest Disney merchandise shop on the property! Everything and anything is in this store! Be sure to have extra time to spend there as it is very large! Disney's Days of Christmas is my next favourite store! It has all the things Christmas, my favourite combination! Here you can get your ornaments personalized. My Christmas tree is filled with personalized ornaments, and regular ornaments from this shop. There is a smaller version of this store in the Magic Kingdom called Ye Old Christmas Shoppe.
4. Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. This again is a ride that my whole family enjoys and will ride over and over again! Just like Rise of the Resistance it is fully immersive, starting in the queue. As you go through the queue you start to shrink to rat size! This ride is 4D and so well done! You can find it in Epcot.
TOP THREE!!!
3. Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. This ride is defiantly a skip for some people, but most Disney World fans will tell you it is a staple. It is a 10 minute ride through Tomorrowland. It is a very chill ride and so neat to see everything without walking around! This one again is one my family enjoys and will continue to ride time and time again! This is found in Magic Kingdom
2. Happily Ever After. What is the first thing most people think about when they think of planning a Disney World trip? I know most peoples answers is "the fireworks". This is where that magic happens! Happily Ever After is the fireworks show in Magic Kingdom. The show includes fireworks, projections onto the castle, and music! This truly is what Disney is to a lot of people! My very favourite part, when Tinkerbell flies from the castle! It doesn't happen every night, only when weather permits, but when it does it honestly is magic!
We made it!
1. Fantasmic. This 30 minute show in Hollywood Studios is how they close out the night! It is a mix of fireworks, projections on water fountains, and live performances. This is one thing that I could go to every night of my trip no questions asked. If Disney offered just a ticket to this I would purchase that! As a child, I remember watching a video that had Mickey Mouse shooting fireworks out of his finger tips. The first time I saw this show I was mesmerized. That was exactly what he did in the show, in real life, in front of me! This was my most magical moment in the parks! As they change this show over the years they have kept my favourite part the exact same! This results in it continuing to be my number one and it will likely remain there forever!
